Shoulder Pain Treatment
Shoulder problems through improper movement or overuse are a common patient complaint. The shoulder contains soft tissues i.e. ligaments, tendons and muscles. With its free movement, there is plenty of scope for injury and pain related problems that may not always stem from soft tissue damage. Because the shoulder is a point on the body where pain can be referred, other areas, such as the neck, the heart and the gallbladder may need further investigation.
By using a combination of manipulation and adjustments, it is possible to effectively reduce shoulder pain whilst improving the range of motion and coordination in the joint. Added exercises of muscle stretching and relaxing techniques can also be employed.
Shoulder problems treatable are frozen shoulder, rotator cuff problems, shoulder instability and shoulder joint disorders and shoulder weakness.
